Nobody in the real world would ever be able to tell. OMG it's played out ON THE FORUMS!!!! You're car will be so boring!!

I vote csl's

I don't understand why you'd ship reps in from the UK - we've got plenty of vendors here. Also, speaking as someone with authentic CSL wheels, my recommendation would be to avoid the expense of CSLs and the stigma of reps by getting ZCP (Competition Package) wheels from Tischer or somewhere. Same build quality and finish, only they're a half inch narower up front; more than reps, yes, but cheaper than CSLs.

It's not about the difference in looks between the real CSL's and the CSL reps. It's about the driving dynamics. I've had 9~10 sets of aftermarket wheels in the last 5 years, including both CSL reps and authentic ZCP's. The CSL reps are absolutely the worst wheels of all the wheels I've had. Extremely heavy and killed the handling and made a noticible difference on straightline acceleration. I couldn't wait to get rid of them the moment I mounted them on my car (and I did get rid of them after like 1 month). Usually I don't waste time replying to idiots like you. But I'm bored today so whatever.

This, I agree with. On the E46 forums if you mention an interest in CSLs/ZCPs or BBS-LMs, you're immediately told how everyone has them. That seems true, if you're browsing the internet. In real life, I've seen one other BMW with CSL-style wheels, a guy with a black e46 M3 cab, over a year ago. Not exactly a groundswell.

Truth is, I wouldn't care if everyone did have them - they still look good. There's a pic from a UK meet on z4-forum where 3 or 4 M Coupes are pictured, all with CSLs; it's a pretty nice picture.

Maybe you dont' know that I'm from the Repubblic of San Marino..that's in Italy So is really much easier for me buy from UK than from USA...Less shipping cost, no VAT added and no duty fees

Thanks for the advices, but in Italy is like the opposite. Is really really difficult here to find 19 csl reps, while is full of M6 reps around in any measure (17-18-19 inch). I will weigh the alloys as soon as I'll get them and decide about it...maybe I'll re-sell them immediatly ;D

Clearly, you know what you're talking about.

Clearly, YOU are the fucking idiot. I was NOT talking about the differences between real or fake csl's. I WAS talking about your implication that the general csl look is played out and EVERYBODY has them.

Reading comprehension is your friend. Good job!

If that's the case then what you wrote in the first place didn't make much sense either. "Nobody in the real world would be able to tell." Tell what? Next time at least try expressing your thoughts more thoroughly.

Your coupe looks great.

I really like the side skirts on the IB. Good call on the H&R springs, they will complete the look.

Here's a few of mine. More located in my pictures on here. I wish there were more hills or something other than flat nothingness around here...
