here's the most complete list i've found for 313 fitment...

e82/88
*18" frt: 7.5" et49
*18" rear: 8.5" et52

e89
*19" frt: 8.0" et29
*19" rear: 9.0" et40

e90/91/92/93 (and e85/86 non-///m )
*18" frt: 8.0" et34
*18" rear: 8.5" et37
*19" frt: 8.0" et37
*19" rear: 9.0" et39

...you ///m guys would have to use a spacer for the rear, no doubt about it. my fantasy ///m would have a square setup of the e89 19" 9.0" et40 all around with 20mm spacers in rear. yeah yeah, i know, spacers are "wrong", but my love of the 313's outweighs that wrong and makes it so right.

the other suitable e89 wheel is the 326, same fit applies.

thanks to dubbedown for the inspiration and pep-talk.

v3.0si - now with the BMW Aero Front Cover

this is all i have at the moment. i'll do a high-res full photo shoot once the non-3.0si kidneys go on. until then...

the lower grille opening and "fangs" are painted A90 - Sophisto Gray Metallic. it came out a bit darker than i had anticipated and i certainly don't remember it being that dark on the f10 at the dealer, but i like it a lot anyway. it absolutely needs the black kidneys though.

coilovers would be excellent! i don't know if i can justify them though since i don't track the car. eibachs or equivilant may be in my future. i wouldn't want to go much more than an inch lower... my driveway is already threatening the new front cover

Even though they are 18", not completely flush, your car still looks mean! I may have to double think my decision to go with VMR VB3s.

Are the aero bumpers lowered compared to the stock ones or do they have the same ground clearance?

the stock LCI cover and the aero cover are identical with clearance near the wheel arches, and around the front to where the step up is on the aero cover. in the front, between the portions that hang down below the main lower "splitter", the aero cover has 0.5" more clearance than the stock LCI cover does.

any rubbing with the 235s and pro kit up front?

there is a small amount of rubbing with the 235's. a few others have reported this same issue here on zpost, with and without lowering springs. i didn't really understand when it was discussed before, but now i do...

it occurs between the outer tread blocks of the tire (not the shoulder), and the liner where it transitions from running inside the fender to running outside the bumper. the liner has a "bulge" where it twists there, and under vertical compression of the front suspension, the tires have made the bulge a bit flat. typically, this happens when i'm driving accross a more important road (on a 2 lane crossing a 4 lane). bigger roads are built with water runoff in mind, so the smaller roads that cross them force cars to cross at their lowest point. a similar instance would be a dip in the pavement at the bottom of a sweeping hill while traveling at speed. i've found that simply altering my route has drastically cut down on how much contact the tire makes with the liner.

i had orginally thought that more camber would solve this, but the contact area on this bulge is rougly 3/4" wide. since the contact is not happening at the shoulder of the tire, a LOT of camber would be needed to correct it. suspension-wise, i believe only caster adjustment would negate rubbing, but would drastically change driving dynamics, which is absolutely the greater evil.

i had also considered purchasing the liner for an ///m (slightly less pronounced bulge due to them running a much taller tire), but after looking at how it fits around the strut i decided it would have to be modified there. so no real gains with that purchase.

since i've already modified the liner to accommodate brake cooling ducts, i figure it wouldn't be too big of a deal for me to make another modification of the liner at this bulge. i'll try and keep this updated when i get at it.

note that staying with the same diameter tire would completely solve this issue, although a wider tire may contact the foglamp acces panel. also consider a less agressive offset than mine (e.g. - 8.0" et40ish)

there really isn't a whole lot of room to play with.

the preLCI (pre-facelift) cars have different ride heights from the LCI cars, so there isn't any direct comparison to mine... but from my own research, it seems that the differences are...

(highest ride height)
preLCI non-sport
LCI non-sport & ///m
LCI sport
preLCI sport
(lowest)

i believe that mine with the eibachs and the slightly taller tires is now on par with the pre LCI sport.
___

hopefully that anwers all of your questions!
