2007 Z4 Coupe Value

I am casually considering selling my car, so I looked up the Kelly Blue Book value. Silver, 6-speed, 3.0si, above average condition, aftermarket wheels, 69,000 miles.

KBB listed the private sale value as $11-12.5k. I then looked at 2019 Bring a Trailer sales and saw several at $12k and $13k.

I haven't kept up with Z4 prices in the last 12 months so these numbers were a surprise. Do they seem in the ballpark to you?

David

Edmunds had pretty much the same as KBB...values on my '08 coupe, 40,150 mile, manual with everything but extended leather:
Trade in: $10,678
Private party: $12,398
Dealer retail: $15,358
I think they continue to be like most other BMW models...just a depreciating (but fun) asset.

With the si I think it depends on exactly what you have and how quickly you want to sell. For example a clean coupe with M Sport bits and a manual gearbox should fetch a considerable premium over those prices.

WDB is spot on. If you have a good example with solid options and limited modifications Bring a Trailer can be a great outlet for you sale. BaT does not take kindly to poorly presented (dirty, unresolved issues) and overly modified cars.
