New to me Z4M Coupe: Audio options?

I’m a 13 year owner of a Z4 2.5i roadster and have purchased a 2006 Z4M Coupe that I’ll be picking up next week and driving 15 hours back home.

What are my options for streaming Bluetooth that will be a simple plug and play? I don't Want to resort to wearing headphones, but my 03 Z4 only had AM/FM.

Already done for me.

I love the noise of internal combustion, but a 15 hour ride might required additional entertainment.

I think I answered my own question. I bought one of these this week and I’ll let you all know if it sucks.

All depends on where you are.
If you can find a clean spot in the band in/around Charlotte, it'll do.
That was my first try, but round abouts Pasadena there's no open frequency.
I use a similar gadget at home to send Sirius/XM around my house and it works fine.

I've taken a different approach. I bought a lightning-to-aux cable at Amazon for my iPhone. I have a SiriusXM streaming subscription (now available with their lower tier, meaning you can stream pretty cheaply now), as well as Spotify and my own massive music library on the phone. I just run anything I want via the aux port. Not elegant, but functional. Sirius in particular is great to stream because they have 3 bitrate options, and the highest is 320kbps - MUCH better than the crappy satellite stream.

I recently bought an Apple watch and I can navigate my music with it - for instance if playing from a playlist and I want to jump a song, I don't have to fumble with the phone to to it, I can just raise my wrist and there are the music controls. Handy.

I installed a Pioneer AVH-3400 in my Z4MC and I love it. Single DIN with flip up screen. Yes, it partially blocks the center vents, but not enough to make a difference, IMO. Bluetooth or cable to my iPhone, so Apple Music, Spotify, Waze etc all work flawlessly. I tried a Bluetooth transmitter, but it's frustrating in urban areas.
I found a much better deal on the unit ($350) by shopping locally than buying online from Best Buy etc, but you can also find on eBay for about that price.
