Factory brake duct block off plate
I decided to remove the the factory brake duct because they were loose and falling apart. I started noticing some fender liner rubbing when going over 60 mph. I figure there's to much pressure build up in the fender push the liner against the front tires. So I ordered a piece of 6"x30" carbon fiber penal from eBay and made these block off plate. $60 for the carbon fiber penal and a couple black rivets.

I tried to cover mine with poly but I had a heck of a time trying to figure out the angles. |

I used a 1/4" packaging foam board that came with the carbon fiber penal to a make a template. It took about 3 try for me to get it to the shape i wanted. The foam board is very easy to handle, I just scrape it on my concrete drive way to Shape the corner and curb. If I have to do it again I would use a thinner pierce of carbon fiber. The one I got was 3/32 thick it's a little hard to flex.

thats a good idea. that duct work is kind of a mess anyway.(1/2 baked design)
pulling the nose to do that would be easy.
