Cost of coilover install...

Would like to know how much you spend on the install of your coilover system, and anything to watch out or replace...TIA

$250 (for a coupe, roadster most likely more)

Check out Rogue Engineering for some rear shock mounts. This is beneficial that it replaces a weak part of the suspension and any subsequent mods to the rear suspension won't require you to tear up the trunk. It replaces the weak factory mounts with some nice billet pieces as well it converts the nuts to bottom mount instead of top mount.

And if you plan on slamming the car, you'll need adjustable control arms for the rear so you don't get excessive camber.

If you're not gonna bother with the other UUC mods (gets really pricey), I highly recommend at least doing the RE shock mounts. If you're putting in suspension this is one of those must do mods at the same time.

Roadster will be substantially more, getting to the top strut bolts requires removing the soft top tray assembly, an additional 30 minutes possible per side.

I found SPC ones on eBay for about half the price of UUC but they dont look nearly as well built as the UUC ones.

Let me know, I know someone in LA that can sell you the part and install for < $300.

Yeah, the UUC ones look really beautiful, but the cost is hard to justify.

You won't need the adjustable arms Chris ... I'm pretty sure I have the lowest Coupe I've seen yet and my alignment was perfect (Thanks to BMS!) with no extra additions.

I do however agree to get the Rogue rear mounts.

You should look into the rear adjustable arms if you intend to use the car for track, unless you're prepared to buy a new set of tires every 3-4 events (or learn to drive conservative enough to not burn through the outside of the tires).

-Rear bushing limiters are a must too, IMO. TMS and BMS both make them. They are cheap and easy to install. For those that don't know they limit lateral deflection of the rear control arm bushing without compromising its ability to compress vertically for bumps.
