ESS performance exhaust 3.0i Z4
For all the non M guys and gals
Free Flow ESS exhaust system made from 304 stainless steel with TIG welded connections and especially designed muffler for discrete, yet powerful sound with maximum flow efficiency. This system gives a 5kg weight reduction compared to the original exhaust. On a stock car this system is proven to produce 6HP, on cars equipped with the ESS TX2 system it will produce an additional 10HP. Last edited by sales@ESSTuning; 11-23-2011 at 02:35 PM.. |

air flow efficiency
This is why most aftermarket mufflers only product a small gain in HP on stock cars. In this case 4HP on a stock car and on a car that has FI 10HP. Weight reduction and sound is really why most people purchase mufflers. |

If it sounds cool, I'll buy one... honestly. 10hp is crazy for just a resonator, I just have my fingers crossed its not all hype, which it probably is

This would fit all non-M cars (including si), but sadly I've never heard it or found a clip of it on the internet. I searched it thoroughly some time ago but came up with nothing.

Sorry ESS does not have one. I was told that they guarantee the build and sound quality or they will give a 100% refund Sound was described to be deeper and more agressive but not real loud and no drone at all. I trust AJ at ESS when he tells me something is very good. Send me a PM if you have more questions.

I got this one too, and love the sound. Fits the 'roadster image' perfectly i.m.h.o.
To put it on, mark out on original exhaust tubes where to cut them, cut, slide ESS unit on the tubes and clamp. Simple as that |

I'd add aesthetics to the list as well. Stock mufflers and tips are never the coolest looking. Thos BBS CH wheels look good too. Great bang for the buck wheel. Not so fun to clean though. I had a set on my last Audi.

Hi
I checked with ESS, they haven't checked fitment on newer Si Z4s. Checking on Realoem, 06 and newer Z4s, have different part number mufflers and a different mounting system. So? Don L |
