After all this time...
I need to get some body work done.
Turns out that I couldn't stay lucky for the entire time I lived in Boston. Parked my car on the street Thursday night, in an end spot, where no one would park in front of me, and some how...someone was still able to bang up my front bumper, couple big gashes, and it's a little bent (the kidney grills popped out on the sides). Thinking about just replacing the bumper with a new one, rather than getting it repaired. Gonna get a couple estimates first and see how it goes. The good news is that Tischer only charges $354 for the bumper. Oh well, it sucks but I guess putting a shiny new bumper on there will make me feel better.

Damn Dammmittt! Sorry to hear. Hey- how about that Hamann front bumper. I may end up with that myself here in the next year or two.

Noted. Thanks. How about TBS screwing up the coverage of the first inning?

BTW... when my fender got damaged, all the appraisers said there was no way to fix the fender. my guy is obsessed with keeping the factor pain whenever possible. he spent hours hammering out my fender, and then minimally blended a small area to fix the scrapes. i am SUPER picky with detail and finish... i can honestly say the fender looked perfect. i was totally shocked and thrilled.

Where in Boston are you? I just moved up here about 4 months ago and bought the Z4MC last month. I see a black Z4MC around my neighborhood all the time. And an Interlagos Blue one too. Anyway, sorry to hear about the damage. I used to live in Manhattan so I feel your pain. I think I may pick up some of those bumper pads when I start parking on the street.
So a really good body shop that I brought my CF hood for my 330 to is Sansossio Auto Body in Natick. Ask for Phill Jr. He's a BMW club racer and does great work and their prices are VERY reasonable. Their website is: http://www.sansossioautobody.com |

I know, you do what you can, but shit still happens. Since I'm working on moving and finding a new place to stay, it's probably gonna have to bear the scars for a couple more weeks.
