Nope, same here in New Orleans where temps on Christmas can range anywhere from 35F to 75F.

It's crazy in our area as well. Last two days of low 20's with low 40's for highs....next week supposed to be back into low 50's for highs again.

People think "Southern" and automatically equate it to "arid desert"

Here we have a distinct winter season....it just doesn't last as long. I actually like it as I'm a colder weather guy anyway. Spent plenty enough time when younger working in the North, upper mid-west, and parts of Canada and Quebec anyway!

All effort allocated to interior and thatís a PITA too.

My wife puts up our decorations......I let her too.

I may bring the tree into the house for her...but after that she's on her own.

Got off 3rd shift the other day and was gonna start putting up the lights. However I decided to sleep and didn't wake up until 4pm. Was only able to get part of the lights up as it started to get dark. Will continue tho when I get back from this roadtrip the wifey and i are on.

Pics look great. Wife and I are headed up that way in a few weeks.

Those are some of the Christmas decorations in the Biltmore House. I have about another 100 pics. We didnít get a chance to see the Downton Abbey Exhibition this trip but will be back before itís gone. We caught Chihuly in Summer 2018.

As an FYI the annual passes are on sale for $100 off through the end of this week. But the annual pass doesnít include the Downton Abbey Exhibition. Also, you may already know, but reserving a time in advance to tour the house is recommended. It was pretty packed today. Have a great trip!
