Installing shifter -- and a whole lot more

I haven't had a chance to get out in the Z4MC for the past several months. Family stuff, COVID stuff, and just regular old stuff stuff, all got in the way. Even though it was pretty chilly today I had the time and opportunity, so out we went.

It may have been a case of absence making the heart grow fonder, but I fell in love with the shifter in the car all over again. My recollection was that it still a tad notchy, and that I was going to try a different oil in the gearbox. But on today's drive everything was utterly perfect. I would not change a thing.

Oh and thank you officer in *ahem* township for ignoring my energetic romp through that little twisty bit. Happy Thanksgiving!
