Hey guys,
Time to get your opinion about our front lip design. The red outline is the proposed shape of the final design. The upper portion of the lip will cup over the mid-section of the front bumper. (so you don't have to paint is black anymore..) The center of the lip will have more clearance for a lowered car. The question is, at both end of the lip, do we want to have the lip extend upwards and covering the fangs. (colored blue in the pic) The prototype right now has the fangs covered up to the crease line in the bumper. Please vote and let's get this lip made... BTW, there will be an optional track splitter that will go with this lip. It'll be mounted underneath this and become available later as an add-on. Please share your ideas/comments as well.. TIA,

I would cover the fangs so you have fewer lines and creases across the front. That way the lip blends better to the bumper. It looks like your design will still have the look of the fangs, but enhanced. Any chance you can share other angles of it?

Hey Dave, yes for this round.. Quote:
I'll try more angles to illustrate.. One of the concern was also, if the line don't match-up to the fang's top edge, it might look bad.. That's why we need all you input.. Yes, it'll be CF and match to all Skyer parts..

My fangs are pretty beat up, so of course I would vote to have them covered. However, I'm just afraid to scratch up that nice CF that's going to be even lower than those fangs

Will the CF lip go under the fangs (the lowest two parts of our front bumpers?); my Bilstein shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit springs lowered the front of my Z4MR appx 3/4 inch; curious if my clearance at this location will be reduced and if yes, appx how much - thanking you.

I'm quite a bit lower than you and have gotten use to approach bumps/dips at an angle after a couple of days when I lowered it ..

Curious - the appx 1/2 in lower at the lowest two parts of the OEM bumper; is this b/c the proposed CF lip will be under the lowest parts? I was thinking the lowest two parts would be lower just by the thickness of the CF lip?
