Roof top motor relocated

It is indeed a horrendous pain but you save a lot of $$ so I guess it's worth it. Probably put 10 hrs into the whole thing. Good news is the motor and insulation look new so it's not been wet.

If nothing is happening, check the bypass cable or the shelf being down to trigger the microswitch.

I've noticed the motor is louder than before. Being out of the plastic box and insulation and also out from where it was before makes it easier to hear.

Helpful hint: tight spaces. I used a jigsaw blade with my hand to saw thru a zip tie.

I put some pipe insulation around it and secured with zip ties--much quieter. I'll post a pic soon.
