Switch interior trim to Aluminum

Recently bought an '06 Z4MR and spent most of yesterday swapping over the aluminum trim from my '04 z4. Love the contrast of the silver/black interior. The carbon trim was too plain (all black) in my opinion

I know the aluminum looks good but how does it feel? Does it get super hot on summer days? Will it be worth the $300?

It does not get hot in the summer. It's also durable. The carbon fiber leather was showing its age.

Hmmmm it might be worth it then, it was either aluminum or wrap the dash I have now
