AmanYasirA - thanks for your feedback. What wheel specification do you run with the 255 tyre?

Thanks again M-Cast. I think those alignment settings and wheel specs will be a bit much for me but the car does look awesome.

Hello I am new here. I installed these 260m(euro spec) on my new to me Z4M today. Stock suspension, got about -1.75 of camber in the front with the stock pins pulled. Running 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 Conti extremes. Absolutely no rubbing. I'm not totally in love with the look but they are wider and lighter than the OE wheels.

Hello all, being a recent 2007 z4mr owner, I would like to change my original wheels with Beyern 18". With stock suspension and everything else, could I use the following ?

front 18-8.5" et30 with Conti Extreme contact Sport 245-40-18

rear 18-9.5" et 20 same tires 275-35-18

Will that fit without any modifications?

Thanks.

Adding my new track setup here as a data point for others that might be looking to do the same.

Square Setup:
* Apex ARC-8 18X9.5 et35
* Optional 5mm rear spacer
* 275/35/18 Hoosier R7 or
* 275/35/18 BFG Rival (both fit and run very wide)
* Camber: F -3.4 | R -2.4
* Front fenders Rolled
* Spring Type: Linear (JRZ/MCS)
— front fitment may vary if using conical suspension like KW

Hey guys, needing some confirmation on tyre sizes for my new wheels on the Z4M Coupe if at all possible. Have read through every page of this thread and no one has the exact setup I am looking at.

Basically I am wanting to know what the widest front and rear tyre I can run is without experiencing any rubbing issues on both standard suspension and also Eibach Pro springs.

Would 19x8.5 ET35 with 245/35/19 fronts and 19x9.5 ET22 with 275/35/19 or 285/30/19 rears work?

Wheels are Apex ARC-8.

Thanks in advance!

I have the exact wheel/tire specs for the front and it should be no issue. I have 19x9.5 ET25 with 275/30/19 and there appeared to be only about 5mm or so clearance to spare on full/near full compression (I'm running Continental Extreme Contact DW). My guess is that I will be a tight fit with 275s on an ET22. But then again, it all depends on the tire brand as not all 275 tires measured equally across different brands. I'm almost certain that 285 will rub on ET22.

iirc I've run that size in nto1, v12 and conti dw. Typically run 265 square which is what I'm on again now.

Are you running 275 35 or only 275 30. I would like to run a 35 if possible as it matches closer to the diameter of the front wheels.

How do you figure that the 275/35 would be a better matched to the front 245/35 than the 275/30? If you look at the numbers below, you'll see that the 275/30 is a lot closer to the 245/35. The 275/35 is much taller than the 245/35 fronts. On the other hand, if you can fit 285/30, that would be perfectly matched to the fronts. I'm thinking about trying out 285/30 on my next set, but not sure if I want to chance it with rubbing issues.

245 x 0.35 = 85.75 mm sidewall
275 x 0.35 = 96.25 mm sidewall
275 x 0.30 = 82.50 mm sidewall
285 x 0.30 = 85.50 mm sidewall

Sorry you are right. 275/30 seems to be the better size. Are we sure a 285/30 wont fit?

Well I had the wheels fitted and they look amazing (in my humble opinion).

Went for 245/35 fronts and 275/30 rears. Tyres are Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050+ and we have no rubbing at all even on full lock.

Very happy. Thanks for the help!

When I was selecting wheels / tires, I created this spreadsheet to tell me what the difference would be from stock fitment - basically so that I could use a tape measure against the stock tires / wheels to determine clearance on the inside / outside top of the wheels. Sharing here in case others find it useful too.

New track setup:

Apex EC-7 18x9 et30, 18x10 et22
Michelin Cup 2's 245/40 and 265/35-18
No spacers

Slightly lowered on GC singles (maybe 1/2" from stock) running -2.8 up front and -2.0 rear. I can probably go wider/lower but first want to see how it works on track. I've had instances where clearance wasn't an issue on street but those hard compression dips on a road course led to rubbing.

I know race silver is not the most unique but really like how it accentuates the aggressive spokes.

Style 157 wheel

Anyone know if the style 157 will fit on a Z4M?

17 x 8.0 + 34 square. Possible 245/40/17 tire

Rays Volk Saga

So cant get hold of 35 and 22 offsets for 18" volks anymore so would be great if someone here can help me to confirm these will fit;

18x8.5 ET36 5x120
18x9.5 ET20 5x120

Thinking of running 245/40/18 and 275/35 on stock suspension.

that's a quite safe/standard setup. Depending on what kind of tires you run, they shouldn't rub at all.

So you think it will be fine with 245/40 and 275/35?

Yes. They should be fine, depending on what tires are you trying to run? Any slicks or 200tw tires will have more of a square tire shoulders, and you might rub at the rear with 9.5 width at et20 and stock suspension setup.

I have ran 275 & 10 width et20 at the rear with PSS tires. They rub slightly at extreme conditions on OE setup.
