E63 AMG - no manuals
CTS-V sedan and wagon - long dead
ATS-V - recently dead
Quattroformaggio or whatever - no manual
XE - promised but never delivered manual
etc...

Most of these can be had manual.

No argument that sedans are dying, you aren't going to find new 6MT sedans for the most part, sedans are just the next victim after wagons, as everyone wants an SUV and to jack the seat up as high as it will go.
One of those has a potential manual going forward, but even that is not confirmed.

The MT was recently confirmed by M head, Flasch.

Other than that, you are correct - none of the sedans on his list have an available manual transmission in current form. In fact, some never had one at all.

But there are two more potential future candidates. While the ATS-V and CTS-V are dead, and the new CT4-V and CT5-V do not have optional manual transmissions (and aren’t really performance cars anyway), the upcoming CT4-V+ and CT5-V+ are likely to have a 6MT option.

How about m240i and possibly, an m2? These do have manuals and about the size of e46 sedan. Of course it depends on how much money you can spend. M240i is about 50k and m2 is about 60.
P.s. I know these are coupes. Still, for the lack of the alternative, you can think of these as 2 door sedans.

lol this thread is a shitshow. theres a reason so many people bought the f80 in stick. because its your only OPTION for a manual door. Obvs if you open it up to coupes then this discussion can go anywhere

Daily driver: ATS-V would be my next one (4 door 6spd RWD).

The genesis G70 sport would be the only other pick to follow. Well or grab another E90 and stick it away for a bit.

For a toy car:
Mustang GT350, Miata or a Porsche. but Id probably just go older and have much more choice

ATS and CTS are being replaced with the CT4 and CT5. They actually appear to be offering three models this time: the base CT4, think 330i; The CT4 V, think M340i; and the CT4 V Plus, think M3.

I replaced my first E90 330i with an AP1 S2000.

The S2k is a great car, but I honestly missed driving the E90...so I bought another E90 330i. In my opinion, the 330i is a near-perfect driver's car.

If I was buying new, my first choice would be the Genesis G70 (RWD + 6MT).

I also like the idea of an ATS-V, but would need seat time to see if I could live with the Cue system.
