Time to do a little update to this thread.

New pedals and gearknob:

Not happy with the crappy gearknob. I managed to pull the knob off while driving on a track.
And the threads for the 3 little screws are f...ed
So Im considering the BMW Percformance Alcantara knob.

New grill:

Was a little too black so I went for this look:

Mods that I have no pictures of is a 3 piece tower bar and a luggage kit that I have not received yet.

Some pics from my first time ever on a racingtrack:

Nice rims. It's good to see some variety over the standard stock or CSL rep. rims.

Wait.. what? When I was looking for my Z4, there was a coupe for sale in BMWofAustin. It was an 3.0si and I am pretty sure they were selling them new through the years there as well.

Non-M coupes were offered for the entire time the M Coupe was available in the US.

i could've swore he said that he was rubbing on his liners but that might also be tire choice. i rubbed in the same spot when i was on a 235/40 with 37 offset on stock (sport) suspension.

About the cover I do not know. But the grey cover have been on all the 3.0si´s Ive seen.
Maybe its only the US versions that have black... Or maybe your cover have been changed?

When I push it hard in corners it rubs slightly on the outer side of the tire. Just behind the reflectors. Ive never had problems scraping the underside of the car on for example speedbumps.
This rubbing in the inner wheelwells are bugging me a bit. I cant find new wheels with the right offset. Im afraid to go too low on the ET. Im now running ET44 on 9" Looking for 8.5" this time. And I see most of the aftermarket wheels is running between ET30 and 38. Ive found a few nice wheels that I like, but Im too afraid to go for it. Im considering buying wheels from the US, so I would like to make the right decision the first time.

like i said, i had the SAME problem as you but turned out my tires were too tall. what tire are you using? but i don't discount that the 9" is too wide for a 44et

I actually just got the bars for the bling :
Havent driven i that much after I installed them. So will see if I notice any difference next season.

Ill change the grill again to all black when I pick up the car after the winter.
The stickers are gone, the reflectors are red but I dont know if Im going to fully debadge it.

Trying to find some nice wheels but I cant make up my mind...
