06 Z4M Stoptech & GC Sway Bars

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I returned my car back to stock and have since traded it in for a different car. Now I just want to make room in my garage and need to clear these out, all prices are in US$, shipping and Paypal fees extra unless you are local then you are more then welcome to pick-up. Feel free to PM me for more info and pictures. Will consider any ressonable offers.

Stoptech BBK front and rear 355 slotted rotors and red 4 piston calipers. Minor scuffs and scratches on the calipers, includes braided SS lines, TI backing plates for all calipers, 4 AXXIS Ultimate pads, 4 Ferodo DS2500 pads, & 2 PFC01 pads. $2,900.00

Ground Control front and rear adjustable sway bars. Rears are a direct bolt on, fronts had end links custom sized for the M coupe and a minor modification to the chasis is required to install them. There is no structural problems with this as it only cuts away a metal that is overhanging the cross member. $450.00

God if I had some cash right now and hadn't just thrown out 3400 dollars on taxes since I just bought this car out of state, the brakes would be mine, that's a steal.

The whole kit has about 35,000 KM's the rear were the originals when I bought the kit and the fronts were replaced about 15,000 KM's before I removed them and traded in the car. The fronts have about 5 or 6 track events and the rears around 15 or 16.

So GC don't actually make Sway bars to fit our cars perfectly?

Was there a great improvement in corners? and how was daily driving affecting the ride?

When I bought these GC did not make sway bars for the M coupe, these were a modified version from the E46 M3 which I bought from BMS at the time. The modification I was told was to shorten the front drop links, I believe GC now does make these sway bars fopr the M coupe.

The car left flatter with less body lean but at the time I also had DA TC Kline coilovers, with this combination the ride was actually better then stock. The other benifit is the adjustable end links which you can dial out any preload in the sway bars regardless of which suspension you might have.

All PM's replied.

The brakes are one of the best improvements that can made on these cars from both looks to performance. It has generated tons of interest and is offered at less then half of what it would cost new.

Up date, Stoptech BBK's are sold to a new home.
Still have the GC sway bars, also factory strut bar and a set of four black OZ Ultraleggera's @ 18 x 9 x ET40.

For all the people that asked about my current car, here is a couple of pictures with my old plates, the car is gone but not forgotten.

A picture of the old car.

$900.00 US plus shipping is my best price. I have the two rims with out tires and 2 rims which have pilot sport cups on them now which you can have for free or I can get them taken off. No curbs or bends this was used as strickly track wheels so there might be the odd small rock chip otherwise they are perfect.
