Aux input cable for 2006 Z4 with navigation
I have searched everywhere for an aux cable that will work with my system with navigation. Any help would be appreciated. Just purchased my 2006 BMW Z4 3.0si Thanks

Can you clarify if you're asking about installing an AUX port (like this), or sourcing a cable that connects to that AUX port?
If it's the latter, you just need a 3.5mm cable.

Yes I'm looking for the port something like this. All the ones I find when I look at the fine print or call say not for cars with navigation. Thanks

If you want to go with the factory AUX setup, you'll need a few parts:
AUX socket: 84109237655 AUX connector wire: 61129172021 Lower Cover: 51459128397 FYI, I've never installed this because it was pre-installed in my car. However, these are indeed the factory parts. So we're on the same page, my frame of reference is the navigation with CID (You have a flippy navigation screen and your radio looks like this). There's a navigation radio (without screen) and I don't know if these parts work with that specific version. Before you buy any of this, check the lower cover in your car to see if you might already have the port. It's kind of hard to spot unless you know about it. The forum has many threads about AUX including the "ashtray" setup and various bluetooth options. Hopefully this was all helpful.

i jsut fitted the kit pictured to my car with "business CD". there is a small plug on the back of the radio that originally connects to the CD stacker and the AUX cable goes in there. If you still have a stacker, you have to remove and replace some wires, but all easy. If you have the screen, i expect you will have to take the 3 pins out of the connector and refit them. if you look on the BMW TIS site and get the wiring diagram for your head unit.
