I know where the cd changer cable is supposed to be and therefore in theory accessible from the trunk. But in all the pics I've seen, the rear access hole is only partially covered by the plastic cubby. In my roadster, it's fully blocked off and there's no give. And from what I can see, the cable disappears off the right somewhere behind the amp. If I pull any harder the cable will definitely snap off the connectors. I’ll take out the entire back carpeting and battery if necessary, but would like confirmation that's even the right method (vs removing the actual console from the front). I have an 08 roadster with no Nav, no DSP.
The typical and more accessible location: https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=497843 Similar to mine (and seems like this member was considering going through front as last resort like me) https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87959 Last edited by 3002 tii; 02-17-2020 at 08:15 PM.. |
