Finding Lower Splash Cover Part

Hello All - I am new to the posting and I appreciate your help!

E85 2003 Z4 has plastic lower cover that is located in front of the wheel liner; P/N 51-71-7-168-996 (right side). I discovered that my cover is cracked/broken in several locations after removing the front bumper cover to work on the headlight assemblies.

I called several dealers and the part has been backordered since 2022. I can't find a used part.

Does anyone know where to find this part?

Go to a junk yard with the description and OEM part number and ask them if it’s available in their online used part availability system. It connects junkyard/recyclers ….

Try eBay? I found the rear splash cover there.

Thanks everyone! I did check ebay and did not find anything. I checked several local (Colorado Springs, CO USA) & Denver junkyards and did not find anything. I will keep looking.

I had the same problem - my splash covers were practically destroyed when I ran over something. I repaired them using model RR styrene and pop rivets.

They are back on the car so I can't post pictures.
