Hey guys,

We're at it again. Here's a few picture of the upcoming vented carbon hood. This is after a few design iterations and some voting from our social platforms.

(Yes, we'll also have M Style carbon hood without all the holes for those who want them. M Style hood preorder will start soon!)

What are your thoughts and opinions? Any input is great as we want to develop this major piece that most will like.

The goal is to be cheaper and easier to obtain than Varis.

Wouldn't know the cost until it's finished developing..

(one piece premium carbon, extra wide special order. No connected pieces and no seams.)

Vented hood will be next..

We are quite happy with the final fitment. Hood is level with both fenders and gaps are even.

The car in picture is missing the front rubber strip so the front gap looks more obvious then it is.

I personally can't wait for the vented hood to be installed on my car..

Possible if there's enough interest.

The ABS canards will be a little rough on the surface, some sanding will be needed if you want to acheive smooth surface.

We use it for prototyping mostly. So if you want we can offer it as is in batches of 10. .

Not much weight saving here for the M style since factory hood ia aluminum.. Only a couple kg at most.

Pricing is not yet determined but will be reasonable versus what's available on the market and more obtainable then the facotry M hood.

You'll reuse all your facotry pieces and can be DIY if you're comfortable.

i wish you did a e85 trunk lid in carbon before the hood....

the z4 trunk lid weights so much its borderline insane. got to be 35kg plus!!

soooooo tempted by the vented carbon hood however but with the stock unit being so light ... im not sure its best placed for my money. but im tempted!

The center vent has been voted out even though I preferred it personally and I know a few of us here do as well.

So we made the side vents larger and longer than previously designed.

We wanted to be aesthetically pleasing and functional at the same time, there's usually a sacrifice some where.
