Z4 at the Ring

Just finished up our trip the Germany to pick up our M3, and thought I'd share with y'all a picture of a M Coupe in my old color lapping with a GTS and some other adult toys last Friday.

And a picture of my new car for good measures. Can't wait for re-delivery.

And a McLaren I saw out the rear view mirror.

Looks like a lot of fun. Waiting for it to get here, uh, not so fun. But once it arrives .

Great shot of your car's twin there on the Ring too!

So how does the whole pick up the new car at the factory thing work? Is there an extra charge for that whole process?

Great pics!!

In the US, you get (at least) a 7% discount on the price of the car for during Euro Delivery (can't do it on cars produced in the US such as the X5/X3. There is no fee for doing it, but you buy the car a week before taking delivery, so your warranty starts before you get the car, and you probably make two payments as the car doesn't arrive for 6-8 weeks once you drop it off. BMW pays for your insurance while in Europe, and they pay to ship it back. It was a great experience.
Here is one more of the Z4 with a gaggle of E36's.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a ton of fun! The wife has been eyeing the 3 Series cabrios at the local dealer for next year, so who knows!
