I've got my next inspection coming up in <1000 miles. I'll let you know if my rears are almost out of spec since I can't measure them with my micrometer without taking the wheel off, and my jack and stands are packed away at the moment.

Hmm so are you proposing to swap with me, assuming yours is at or below spec? And then you try to wear out my rear rotors in the next 1k miles or so?

Just got both sets of used OE pads in and surprisingly neither of the sets are used all that much lol...so I'm probably going just try cooking the new set I just got from the dealer as much as possible.
I also might have access to old used and worn rotors, so I now only need worn pads =P |

^glad to hear u got my set of pads in i always utilize engine braking to the max extent possible (also so i never really had to stomp on the brakes much to avoid brake dust as far as possible) so there's plenty of life left in them yet.

Hah I kill brakes @ Laguna =/
Trying to improve my lap times via later threshold braking which requires that I cook them pretty hot, sometimes even trail-braking into a corner just to keep some extra stability in the transferring of weight. It'd be nice if I could shave 200 more lbs. off of the car =] |

Whoa, totally forgot to update everyone.
So the stupid stealershit somehow decided to swap out my rear rotors and pads, despite telling me my fronts were probably going to be due for a swap first... Is anyone willing to help me out with front rotors? I just want new front rotors =/ If your warranty is up soon, and you don't track your car at least once a month (meaning you won't be able to get new rotors on your own anyway), lemme know if we can work something out |
