B pillar panel Z4m coupe
Im assuming from me leaning on the fabric covered B pillar cover when exiting my car I damaged the plastic pins that hold it on. I replaced the one that snapped with a slightly longer one but it still doesnt snap in tightly. Not sure why...

I had a similar issue with my B pillars after I wrapped them in alcantarra.
You need the proper OE pins, or try a couple of different ones. pins have different engagement lengths and it doesn’t take much to make a difference. |

I have used one that was for the door panel and it worked/fitted perfectly. Unfortunately, they don't list an OE replacement pin for that panel...at least not that I can find

It galled my posterior, but after having that panel keep coming loose for a few years over several different apparently correct aftermarket pins, I broke down and paid a fortune for the factory pins. It has maybe fallen of once in the ensuing 5 or 6 years.
