Dead battery

Had my Z4 M Coupe on a battery tender in my heated garage all winter. Would not start/battery was completely dead. Car started and ran fine with a boost. Car has been on a charger today. The battery is only 14 months old. Could it be the battery needs changing again, or should I be looking for some parasitic voltage loss?

Perhaps an iffy connection to one of the battery terminals? Having a battery go dead on a battery tender is really unusual. What tender do you use?

You might also want to try posting in the "General BMW Z4 Forum" -- more traffic there.
