That's cool...
The price of the OEM CSL seats was a little prohibitive, especially as they are just modified Recaro Pole Positions anyway. The seats in my car will be retrimmed in the summer in the same Black Nappa as the standard seats... or Alcantara (still deciding!). And I would oh-so love to do the Z4M Motosport kit.....

I did have a look around a CSL at the 'Ring. A friend has got one recently, and I was going to measure up the mounting points on the floorpan to see if they match the ones on the Z4...
I think width-wise you'd be ok. Height I don't know.... One day I'll have a measure up from a CSL and see how they would fit, although I've done the aftermarket route now, so I doubt I'll change my setup though.

I'm pretty sure they would fit and match the mounting points - BlackSapphireZ successfully put an E46 sports seat in his Z4 on a lark. Looked weird, but it fit.

+1..after cotemplating the 335 & 135, I believe I have found the perfect car for me. Thanks to these pics, I now will be hunting for an alpine white Z4M. Beautiful car.

Don't get me wrong, the wife has a 335 Coupe, it's a blast to drive. I do want a performance 2-seater though. This alpine white with the CSL 19" wheels looks absolutely to die for. Are the wheels hypercoated? |
