Business Radio CD

I have the business radio hifi setup in my 04 and the CD has progressive gotten worse as far as skipping and intermittently stopping.
It is now inoperable.

Is the laser serviceable on these units?

Thanks

Garage List
Mine was a bit flaky when I bought the car, and made it much better by simply running a cleaning CD through it (little brushes mounted to a disc).

If cleaning doesn't solve it, I would just buy a replacement unit on Ebay - they're cheap. Also buy a later one that supports MP3, if that's of interest to you - MP3 support started in '05 or '06.

Closure... simple cleaning disc resumed normal operation.
