Overdue Pictures
I realized I haven't posted up anything since I finished my air ride install...I know it's not for everyone, but it has made my car much more practical and it looks fantastic in my opinion.
Apologies for the crappy pictures, I haven't been out to shoot in quite a while

Air lift was supposed to release a kit for this platform, I would probably wait for that if I was you. My suspension is made by airrex, which is good quality, but I had to basically get a one off kit

I'm running AirREX as well and it is by far the stiffest "performance oriented" air setup. You can still run both sway bars, as well as opt for camber plates and you have full dampening control.
There are some other brands that offer those options but the whole package is just so much better with AirREX. The ride and performance quality, as well as the build quality. I have about 20,000 + miles on my setup with ZERO issues. My TT was on full airlift and it was a very nice ride, but more OEM quality. So it just depends what you're looking for. Overall though I would never say air is a downgrade unless you're building a full track spec car and pushing it to the most extreme limits. As for going low, airrex rears won't go that low since they have those big plates holding the bags. Basically just a tradeoff for having really good build quality and drop in install. There are plenty ways to get the rear lower just depends how involved you want to get.

thanks for the pic, looks like a really great use of space back there. You still retained the big main part of the trunk. I think on a roadster, it might be too tall and not allow the top to fold

Well put m_power...I have been in a few cars with the air lift performance struts, and they are pretty similar in ride, definitely stiffer than the slam xl's were

You can definitely run it in the winter. You use a water trap in the compressor line to filter the water out of the air. Also you need to be sure and drain the air tank of any water about once a week during the winter
