Changed the rollers - Volk Racing ZE40
A little tardy getting these posted.
I really hate to part with my Volk G2 but it was time for a change. One of my prime objectives was a square setup for track and minimal spacers. These are 9.5" all four corners with 265/35 These are BMW hub centric with no rings. ET40 front with 10mm spacer (net ET30) ET20 rear, no spacer

I love the look of these so much more then the G2s. Great looking wheel!
Looks like somebody else besides me is doing their own at home alignements. What are you using for your strings and camber guage?

I'm actually in the process of changing up the string support pipes. I'm suspending them from the car so that there's less movement. I'm using a heavy, colored fishing line for the strings. Works great. I have a Longacre digital camber gauge (I think there's an old thread in here on the topic.)

Thanks guys.
Ive done one event with this setup and am very happy with it. Front grip is obviously much better, but the car overall just feels to be better balanced. With the wider front tire patch, feel for steering input is even better than the very good stock setup.

This will be my next setup no doubt, gathered the full specs from your post. The fitment seems spot on, were there any issues on the installation side or tricks if you don't mind?
Currently running 18x9 245 up front and 18x10 275 out back. Cool setup but a relic from the prior owner, looking to tweak the car to make it "mine". Last edited by 86Zed; 10-14-2015 at 03:20 PM.. |

[QUOTE=inTgr8r;19298607]Still the same.
/QUOTE] How has your experience been with these wheels short/long term? Recently discovered my Advan wheels have an ever so small bend to them. Trying to debate if I want to go Apex (cheaper and disposable, essentially) or Rays/Volk. |
