WTB: Rogue Engineering S-pipe and X-pipe
Looking for the Rogue Engineering S-pipe and X-pipe for the Z4M. Would like one that is hardly used and in great condition. Looking to take off the custom exhaust system I have and go back with something more moderate and simple. Current exhaust system was a complete custom made to order I designed with the fabricator and went overboard with some stuff and is EXTREMELY LOUD!!! Makes it difficult to start up in the early morning or late in the evening without causing attention and also driving around 80mph+ you will start to get a headache after awhile. Good for anyone with a forced induction setup. Dual 3" aluminum piping all the way through till the muffler end and the muffler is titanium dual 4" openings. Sections are held together by commercial diesel truck grade V-band clamps so it makes for easy changes and install. I run CSL headers heat coated both inside and outside and the exhaust system has no cats whatsoever and no resonators either so like I said it is very loud!!! I can easily out rev out even cammed LS engines and Vettes when I stab it to redline. Makes your ears want to bleed, lol. Hopefully you get the point how loud this exhaust system really is, thanks.

Can I ask, is it LOUD LOUD?
LOL, good luck with finding a civilized setup. I have RE Diablo cans for sale if you are interested in finishing up your new setup. Cheers!? |

I have the S pipe but it is at my parents house. I don't drive the car much nowadays and the part is just sitting there not even installed. If you can wait until next weekend, I will try and get it out and take some pictures and we can discuss price offline.
I also have the X-pipe installed and in my honest opinion, I didn't notice much of anything when I installed it. Maybe a little more rasp

I am not in any hurry as it is winter and the car is stored away. But I definitely wouldn't mind you sending me some pics of the parts you have and discussing a price for them both. I live in Harrisburg PA so I could easily drive up and pickup the parts as needed.

You might find that the E39 540i mufflers with the resonator car removed, do a great job of both calming the racket that an S54 sends into the exhaust and flowing as well as any of these aftermarket buzzbomb mufflers. I've used these on other BMW's before in place of the car's stock muffler, with great results. They have 3" inlet and outlet pipes. you can weld whatever tip you want onto it.
