The B4 set is OEM replacement level which is ok, but I would like a set of B6's but who knows how long that will be until they available. Don't really need coilovers but I would like some but in reality I only drive about 4,000 miles a year if even that so not really worth the expense. Sort of stuck about which way to turn but I am patient. Something will turn up. |

I think B6 is the OEM replacement for the ///M. No option for B4.
Would rather not spend the cash for coilovers for my DD, putting a kid through College. Also can't abide lowering the car. Already drags the fangs.

Bilstein B6s: Turner Motorsport is showing a ship date of December 13th for the B6 kit. The ones I posted were advertised with about 10K miles on the clock, and I cleaned them up a bit. I feel I was lucky to find them. I'm on the fence about having them re-valved, and lowering the PSI, before installation. Both Birds in the UK, and Fat Cat Motorsports in the bay area are recommending those modifications, but the additional cost is substantial. |

They are free from defects in material and workmanship.
They're also free from any Nitrogen they once had in them. This would be considered normal wear and tear after 4 years and 75,000 miles.

I guess I have finally figured out what to do with my suspension refresh part 1.
Went with the Vogtland Sport Suspension Kit for 2003-08 BMW E85 Z4. Vogtland N.A. stated that the drop will not be 1.2" as advertised since I have the factory Sport Suspension, and should expect a drop of approximately 3/4" which is what I liked since my car is already low. We will see how it rides after installation and a couple of hundred miles. |

A new driver’s side front wheel bearing. Only 53,000 kms and no track use - wtf? Presumably due to being stored every winter.

Are you running spacers or aftermarket wheels?

The rims are Apex EC7s, 8.5”/9.5”, no spacers. OEM tire sizes. Well within normal tolerances I would think, particularly given the relatively undemanding road use.
