I was you. Then I decided to try it again 5 years later once almost all the seasons were out and it's my favorite show of all time.

I watched the first 2 episodes like 5 times because I couldn't get passed them.

Currently on episode 3 of Messiah I enjoy it so far

I forced my gf into watching Breaking Bad and it's now also her favorite show of all time.

I've watched the entire series start to finish 3 times (once by myself, once with a friend, once with gf) and I've enjoyed the ride every time even though I knew what would happen.

Wife and I had to pause after 2 episodes of 'Breaking Bad' too. It was so... ...intense. But we went back to it, paused another time or two, but got through. It's worth the trip IMO.

That was my girlfriend's initial reaction when I had her watch through the series with me. But when we got to the end she really enjoyed the whole story.


For something a bit goofy and silly, but enjoyable, we ran across Tacoma FD last night. So watched a few episodes.

It's the guys from Super Troopers as a prank-heavy fire department in Tacoma, WA.

It's basically Super Troopers + Reno 911.

Honestly, it is somewhat redundant if you’ve seen the other documentaries on Hernandez - CNN, for example. But it also covers his days at Florida in a bit more detail as well as footage related to both murders not previously shown. Also interesting to hear his calls from jail too.

I finished the other 2 episodes this morning. The calls from jail were probably the most interesting just to hear how effed up he was. A few tidbits about his family life too, like his mom... To your point I think it would be more interesting for someone who didn’t really follow him or the case. I’m a Gator hater so I knew some of the UF stuff already and there is actually more stuff while at UF they didn’t get into that much. And the guy he shot in FL happened in the county where I live (fortunately far from us) so I head all about that on local news already.
