I'm planning on an 18x9 F and 18x10 R setup. 07 Z4MC
I have the option to specify my ETs, so I'll ask the experts. I would *like* to get 255s in the front and 285s in the rear. This is for a track setup on stock suspension (at the moment, though I doubt I'll ever drop the car more than half an inch, ever). The question is: what ETs should I get for those wheel sizes, and what aspect ratio of the tires to get it close to stock? I'd do the math but the last time that happened, I...well, MATH IS HARD. |

18x9 et42
18x10 et30 If in doubt, go a tad higher on the offsets so you have the option of using thin spacers to get it perfect. Lots will depend on tire brand and model and the specific shape of the tire. Expect rubbing - even with dead on perfect offsets, 255/40 and 285/35 is a tight fit on this car - trust me

Hey Guys.
I'm looking for autocrossing wheels. I want to go 225s in the front and 255s in the rear. Can I go 18x8 ET 35 in the front and 18x9 ET 20 rear? |

get that rear to 9.5" and your talking the perfect z4m setup in 19" sizes :-) this will be flush all round and will be able to take small increments of lowering also :-) tyre choice is paramount also.

Fronts are like 15mm too aggressive with stock suspension/camber setup.
The rears are pretty aggressive too and you will probably have to pull fenders to prevent rubbing. These are very close offsets with Crfine's TE 37 SLs... which are seriously aggressive. Last edited by Daemonblitz; 05-12-2011 at 03:02 PM.. |

Hello everybody, I'm new here, I'm from Belgium and I just bought a 2006 Z4 M Coupe. I have found some nice BBS LM's with these specs:
Front 19 x 8.5 ET38 Back 19 x 9.5 ET20 Will these fit without rubbing ? Is the wheel at the back going to stick out of the fender ? (I hope not) And what would be the perfect tires for these wheels ? Already thanks and I hope my English isn't too bad |

Hey guys
I have a tire shop putting together a winter tire package for me and they state that the following will work. I am doubtful after reading this thread that a 17" will fit over the brakes. What do you guys think? It is for a Z4M. Thanks 17" rims with 40 ET 225/45/17 tires and 225/5017 tires |

As for tire sizes, if you want a squared setup the correct tire size for 17"s is 225/50/17 all around. 225/45/17 is too thin of a sidewall. You never mentioned the width of the rim, that is important too when you mention offset. If they are 8" you are fine in the front but you will need a significant spacer at the back to keep the wheel from being tucked under the fender. |

Thank you BTM & Daemonblitz for your posts. I will try and stop by the guy's shop Saturday to do a test fitting and will report back.
I don't know the width of the tires, he didnt mention that but I am going to assume at least 8" BTM ... How are those rims to clean? They look good! |

If someone could help me out, I'd appreciate it. I'm pretty new to this site, as I have just been a spectator every since buying my z4m coupe. However, I have come across some ccw wheels and want to know if they would fit.
18x8.5 et38 fronts 18x10.5 et19 or 18x10 et18 rears Thanks in advance! |
