That is an EXCELLENT Idea. I have like 5 all over my shop for my ATV, Lawn mower, tractor, fun weekend car, etc and when the season shows up and I have to pile them all up - this would be a fantastic I idea.

Thanks for sharing!

I got tired of my 25 year old Logitech computer speakers, so I bought some Edifier MR5's. I don't game any longer much, and when I do I use headphones. I decided against a 2.1 setup and just went with small bookshelf monitors. I was able to spend some time listening to them, I also am trying the 3 month Amazon music unlimited trial. The Amazon service has quite a bit more ultra HD and cd quality content than other streaming services. It even makes the HK system in my X5 sound better, much better by far than Sirius.

Ordered a Fosi Audio ZH3 DAC also with XLR cables also, I'm currently searching for a decent set of headphones.

So you are liking it? Seeing a lot of people bitching and returning due to the screen "issues" and now the Android Auto issues. I was holding off waiting to see how it plays out.

I'm never a "first thru the door" guy, but I am Android for life too. LOL FAP

So thus far I'm impressed. Definitely can't say I have weeks of usage yet. But I've been using Galaxy phones for a very long time and see nothing to change my mind. It's super responsive and the screen is gorgeous! I bet folks aren't setting up display properly. I noticed by default: 4k is off and auto-dim is on. Even with me disabling those efficiency modes, battery life is really good!
As I play around with it having the screen constantly on, it's not draining significantly.
There are a TON of new features including Ai that I haven't even used yet.

Nice. I'm a HUGE Audiophile! Digging the look of these. Are those side ports I'm seeing at the bottom? They must sound great.

Yes, they contain an internal 5 1/2" "woofer" that fires down, so they are a three way speaker. The bass of course isn't on par with a couple 18 inch subs, but for sitting on either side of my computer monitor they do well. They will get louder than I care for, without breaking up. The Amazon ultra HD streaming is going really well, lots of content and so far most of it sounds great.

Ahhh flashback to when I had my nitro RC cars. Cause battery back then was not what it is today. Little man looks SO excited. I see many amazing memories being made. It pulling him in the sled had me cracking up.

I love Traxxas, been looking at picking up a new one, (XRT Ultimate). Their headquarters is maybe an hour from me, but I fear I wont get as much use out of it as I would like.

Hope you and your son have some great times!!

Such a blast man. Definitely go check them out! I would love the new blue xrt ultimate.

I was sleeping on the idea of one of these for the last few years but hesitated because of the danger with lipo batteries (funny to think nitro is actually safer). I have read horror stories of homes burning down overnight.

But I feel comfortable with how to handle these now, store them, and keep them in some battery safes. The Traxxas charger setup you can bundle with xrt or xmaxx makes it super easy. You just plug them in and balance charge before use, or storage charge when no planned use for more than a few days.

Maybe down the road I’ll add an XRT but right now this is plenty! Haha
