No idea on US plumbing code, in Canada it’s ~12” of copper (or flex) off the tank, then PEX or whatever.

I must have remembered it backwards, because having copper stubs between the heater and flex as a heat break as you describe makes more sense.....

I went to the dealership today to pick up some washer fluid. It was my first drive since my shoulder surgery. They gave me 5 bottles for free. The sealed bottles apparently evaporate while in storage. Im going to stop and pick up distilled water after physical therapy tonight.

Thanks man! Ironically, I've been strongly getting into Browns, Tans, Creams with my wardrobe for casual and dress wear, like my suits. Now Athletic wear is starting to offer these colors and I am loving it!

Since you like these, you may appreciate a pair I just custom design which are being created now. ETA in a couple of weeks.
Nike offers "Nike By You" for a handful of their designs. The Vomero was added a week ago. I immediately created these. Tell me what you think...

FYI, if you dont own a pair of these Vomero Plus, they are absolutely amazing! These and their new Pegasus Premium are my favorite Nike shoes. Ultra comfy and stylish.

My smithey carbon steel wok is a bit too small for daily use. Wanted to replace my 14” nonstick wok, so picked up this 14” carbon steel wok for $45 (7.7” base diameter). First run was great.

I have a pair of Vomero 18's, which I wear for my daily walks around town. Cobblestone streets are not your friend!! I'll check the Nike by You website to see their offerings

I recently purchased an SVS SB3000, but they came out with a new variant with 50% more RMS power and a redesigned woofer, so I ordered that and will try them side by side before sending one back. My wife hates the fact that it shakes the entire living room lol.

Nice - I'm in the same boat. Don't need, but for some odd reason I feel the need to switch up. Hit Callaway drivers my whole life (Have the Mavrik now) - so considering this years Elite and want to try then new Ping G440 Max.

Yeah...don't really need it but I am so inconsistent when hitting my driver that I am willing to change things up to see if it works. I ordered the Mini Driver on 2/9 and it still hasn't shipped from TaylorMade yet. Everything in stock over there so I am not sure what is going on.

I am playing my first round outside today of 2026 after hitting on an indoor golf sim for the past 3 months, should be interesting to see how things translate to the real world! lol.

I have heard good things about both. I feel the Ping G line is awesome and I have hit the G440 Max driver last year while on vacation renting clubs. It's very forgiving and was able to get majority of my hits in the fairway. Can't ever go wrong with Callaway though! Their new lineup is supposed to be spot on!
