As I've been going through this site for some time figured it was time to check in.
My wife and i picked up a 2006 Z4M . Silver over black. Great car, !! About myself work as an artist, as does my wife. The first project is the exhaust . When my wife asked " can we make it sound better, more performance sounding" I new it was time to join this forum.. Very interested in the Mstache2 front lip/spoiler as well |

Checking in
Hi all,
I picked up a 2006 Z4 M Coupe this winter. It is Sepang Bronze, ~50k mi (now) and stock minus a few little things like a shorty antenna. I'm an avid reader and sometime poster at bimmerforums where I started after picking up a 2000 Z3 M Coupe in 2005. I still have it, and have done a fair amount of work to it (or, had work done, as the case has been). I've been lurking here and reading up on exhausts, headers, wheels, and basic "mods" for the Z4M and I look forward to contributing where I can in the future. Looks like you are handy with a camera; you should definitely get some pictures in for the photo of the month contest here.

Greetings
Hi all, just checking in and introducing myself. I'm a long time BMW owner and have had more than my share of them in the past. My current stable consists of a 1999 E46 S54 powered sedan that I race in US Touring cars and GTS, an S52 powered E30 M3, and an 1972 2002 ex SCCA IT car.
The Z4 is a 2006 3.0si model that I just picked up a few days ago. I had one back in 2004 but it was an SMG model that loved leaving me on the railroad tracks! This one is a 6 speed with a hardtop as a bonus. I installed a set of Miro 112's today. Miro sponsors my Touring car so the price was certainly right. On tap is a set of H&R coilovers, Powerflex bushings, AFE intake, Remus exhaust to start. It needs brakes so drilled / slotted rotors and ceramic pads are going on in a few days. Aero side skirts and bumper along with an M hood will finish it out and make it "mine". 'nuff said here she is:

Hey everyone, just picked up a 2003 Z4 2.5. First car, back in the day, was a 1991 325iC and I've always had a soft spot for BMW convertibles. Here's a picture from this past Saturday when I took her up into Joshua Tree National Park.

New Baby
Saw this one on an auction that didn't make the reserve. Contacted the dealer and it's mine. It was sold new in Honolulu, became part of an estate, sold at auction, shipped to California, trucked to Texas after I bought it. 4475 miles at purchase. 4475 miles at purchase. Not a typo! I drove a '70 280 SL daily from '82 to '12. My son "claimed" it. I thought I could do without a "my" car, but that just didn't work. Happy days are here again!

Yes, They are there but buried deep. I have the US-Spec ipod interface installed and after looking myself, I took it to a pro and they had to remove the panel behind the seats to find it and bring it to the trunk. I understand that is rare and it's usually just behind the metal wall on the trunk side. If your lucky you may be able to fish it out from inside the trunk.

Hi. I've been lurking for a few months now, trying to get to know this forum and learn more about M coupes. Planning to buy a Z4M in the coming weeks/months as summer picks up with work.

I am popping in and saying hello. Already found my PK code to set up my phone thanks to this forum...so thank you!
I live in the Chicago 'burbs and just picked up an 07 3.0SI with less than 20K on the odo. I'm new to the Z, not to BMW, and certainly not to forums. Without further ado, here's my "new to me" ride. |

My first Z4
Hi Everyone. Just bought my first BMW Z4. Its a Black 2007 3.0i. It has 55,000 miles on it (out of warranty) so I am crossing my fingers that it holds up ok and that the previous owner took good care of it. The outside is pristine so I hope he or she showed the same respect for the engine. In any case, I just love it and only wish I could of bought one earlier. I have already picked up some great tips and advice just going through the forums here so thanks for all the info you guys and gals may have posted. Looking forward to participating in the forum even though I'm sure I will be learning more than handing out advice but you have to start somewhere right?.
Thanks |
