I’m getting my second one on Thursday to replace the tooth I cracked after the extraction for the first one last December. First one is 100% done with crown.

Airpod Pros 2nd gen. Hoping they work well as hearing aids. I also need something to block out the gawd awful music they play at the gym.

The noise cancellation is excellent. With music playing it should drown out the awful music nicely.

I have Airpod Pros (I think mine are gen 1?). These things are fantastic. I often toss them in at the home office strictly for the noise cancelation (no music, calls, etc.) with the girls running around. Big fan.

I posted this in the other thread in the Health subforum, but:

So far, so good. They certainly do amplify noises I haven't been hearing in years. Not sure that's an entirely good thing, but I guess it will take some getting used to and some fine tuning the settings. But just typing this out I can hear the keys clicking very crisply where I normally would just hear dull thumps. When I get up from my recliner, I can hear it squeaking a lot more than I could before. Talking with my brother on the phone now and it works well for that as well.

I don't love the way these things look, though. I feel sort of like:

It may be premature since it isn't yet in my possession, but funds have been wired so what the heck... Another "stripper" E90 M3.

It took me about three years to find my Jet Black stripper (no options), and it's been seven years since then to find this one. I've wanted a final year Le Mans Blue stripper E90M for over a decade, so it's a monumental purchase. Only 185 LMB E90 M3s were ever made without consideration of spec. With my spec requirements being very specific (see below), it's no wonder that it took me so long to find the needle in the haystack. I fly out this weekend with the wife to spend a couple days on the beach, and we'll drive it back.

2011 E90 M3 "Stripper"
Le Mans Blue
Speed Cloth interior
6-speed manual
Slick Top (no sunroof)
Single hump (no nav)

I'll get some better pictures. This is before paint correction and detail, new tires, etc. Intentionally dirty so we can leave it for the detailers. I can't wait to drive the wheels off of it.

Had an E90 M3, ordered the car, took delivery Oct 2010 and finally sold it in ‘21… regret selling that car.

Looking forward to more pics when you receive the car!

I can’t get enough of ‘em! Looks like it was a nice one, too. Can’t help but notice the Land Cruiser in the background…

While this will be a “forever car,” I still want to pick up an E92 DCT some day.

Those are my two loves: Land Cruisers and M3s. Polar opposites for a myriad of reasons, but I can’t get enough of them!

You can throw your money in a virtual black hole or you could still buy some digital trading cards, NFTs, shoes, bibles, or a watch and speculate on those. I'm sure they will be *real* valuable later.

Friendly reminder that BP has a strict no-politics policy, as explained in a sticky post about why the Politics and Religion section was deleted. Banned camp is a cold and lonely place from what others who have been there have reported.....

There is absolutely zero politics involved in the statement made. Any inference made is one of your own.

It was a list of specific items being sold/branded by a certain politician (why I redacted the list in my quote), and is most certainly politics.....
