Last week:
Got 10 mm Spacers for the front wheels and replaced the 15 mm in the rear with 12 mm. Fits perfect and flush look. Bought new headlights yesterday. Black with clear stripes. Next: New A/C compressor. |

An alternator rebuild!
And I thought it was going to be an uneventful trip into work today.

I'd like to see that done. Funny that nobody seems to have tried it.

In my part of Canada, I think it's one of THE foggiest spots on the planet. Check out this link and scroll to the end of the section on climate.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geograp...d_and_Labrador I should probably replace the fog lights with an active radar system!

http://www.bimmian.com/WTS Not cheap, but they fit perfectly and work with no problems. I got the amber 7507 for my rear turn signals, and love them. Maybe brake lights (1156?) next? Be sure to check your bulb sizes - some of the ones they list (for my car) are incorrect, and trying to return these to Canada is a pain.

Swapped UUC urethane mounts for Rogue neoprene rubber. Added eBay clutch pedal bump stop and adjusted just right.
Overall, UUC short shifter + RE trans mounts + CDV delete + bump stop = really, really nice mod combo! |

PAINT
Painted a lot of the black plastic parts under the hood with metallic black flake paint - spice it up a bit - waiting on the new design for the air intake for the ESS 445 to come in next month.

I recently got a set of Michelin Pilot Supersport - what a difference! I also noticed that the brake rotors and pads were becoming worn so I just ordered a set of Callahan's (drilled & slotted) from eBay. Does anyone have experience with them?
