It's good to see I'm not the only one playing on this forum...I've been Arranged Teamed with 3 of you (about to be 4) and we've hit - 2v2 Platinum, 2v2 Gold. I haven't been placed in Silver or below with anyone from this forum. You guys know your stuff! GG's all around!

megaman please give me a beta key if u can... I would love to play with u guys... I used to play on ladders and leagues... so I guess I am semi gosu with the average 250-300 apm

I am, however, moving to Japan Jul 30 and won't be back for a few years. I'm not sure if they've set the game up to be region specific (word on the battle.net forums is the games are now region specific).

What this means:
In the original Starcraft, and even Warcraft 3, you can choose which "server" you're playing on. Examples: Starcraft has USWest, USEast, Asia, and Europe, and Warcraft 3 has Azeroth, Lordaeron, Kalimdor, Northrend. You are able to choose where you want to be playing.

The new games might be region specific. I'm not sure how it's going to be determined. Either by where you bought the disc and how the game installs, or where your IP says you are.

If it's the former, then I'll still be able to play with all of you, but with significant lag coming from Japan. The later would mean I'll then be playing with Koreans...and probably end up in the Copper League. Lol.

In any case, it'll be interesting how this server set-up works itself out.

Ah man...they are resetting the ladder again!

I don't really care about my rankings/stats; I just don't like losing friends list and having to enter them all again. That and everyone who changes their names, so I can't find them again...

It looks like they reset the ladder and friends lists again. At least everyone retained their IDs.

Nevermind...I just logged back on and some of my stuff is still there...friends list is intact, but ladder information is incorrect; some AT partners stats are completely gone. My solo record is completely gone. It looks like they're in the process of resetting everything...

Or, it's that I'm in that unlucky bunch to be grouped into "temporarily losing friends list and stats."
