Pretty simple...
We bought a 2003 Z4 3 years ago when we moved to Seattle. Love it. Of course, it spends most of it's time resting in the garage now... Bought it for $16k with 28,000 miles on the odo. We've managed to add 12,000 miles over the past three years, thoroughly enjoying every one of them. (It doesn't rain her elike people assume it does... ) Now I'm considering some modifications to improve the power. I don't feel its lacking in any way, but...I like to modify cars and more power is usually better (my opinion). What else...? My name is Duane. I have two dogs. (Cavaliers) I've written two books. I have one wife. She has one Jetta. We have one Tacoma, but I also have one FJR1300 and one KTM 690 Enduro R. ...and I. Am. Canadian. |

Hello all. Recently got out of my '08 M3 for an 07 Alpine White M Coupe. A very different driving experience indeed though I love it. This is such a driver's car. Planning on holding onto this one for a LONG time. First mod suggestions anyone? I'm planning on Sport Line 19" wheels first. Great forum here guys and it's refreshing to see mature, friendly people online for a change.

After a year and a half I can happily say I am a M Coupe owner!! Best decision I ever made! As you can tell from my join date, I planned this purchase back in March of 2011, but opted because it originally was very impulsive. Now I am kicking myself in the arse for not moving on sooner!! The car still impresses me everyday whether im driving it or just admiring it from afar. Previously being an S2000, this car brings it back to home, but with the amount of power the s2000 needs. It is nice to move back to a sports car from a luxury sedan and hope to get some mods soon and go to a couple meets!

Greetings,
I just bought a silver Z4 to go with my silver BMW R1200RT. It is an '04 with 58,000 miles on it. It has a few door dings but overall seems to be in pretty good shape. I gotta say I love driving it. Definitely has the smiles per miles factor. I am thinking my bike is not going to get ridden as much as before. |

hey, just got a black 2009 35i last week...got rid of my nissan 350z for it..new z4 is so much better. Only thing is I have the 296 rims and base stereo. Still under warranty for a year so upgrading the crappy stereo first. Already installed smart top and ordered a kenwood head unit, focal 165 vr3 component speakers, boston acoustic amp and going old school with a bazooka bass tube. Planning on getting rid of the RFT next and ESS tune.

Congrats on the new toy. Hoped you had done your research on the stereo upgrade as a lot of the electronics are tied together. The stereo on the Z4 isn't an independent unit as it is in the nissan.

Hello, everyone. I'm new to the forum and have recently acquired a 2008 Z4 3.0i roadster, triple black with sport package, power seats and premium package with automatic transmission and power top. Had 30,000 mi. when purchased for $25,000 and is in pristine condition. I love this car already and I've just had it a short time. Already got the mod bug and have added black spoked wheels with Hankook V12 tires, stubby antenna, Leather Z armrest, ultimate cupholder, debadged and blacked out emblems for that stealthy look. Looking forward to being a part of the Z-post family.

New owner checking in!
Hi Everyone
Just picked up an 06 M Roadster this last week. So far I've washed and waxed her, ditched the stock tires for Michelin SS, diagnosed and cleared my first code, 2a17, R&R'd the MAF and spark plugs. Looks good, screams like a bat out of hell and sticks like glue. It has 57,xxx miles and a FSH. Car ran great on my test drives but is even better with the new plugs and It'm sure it will be even better with a valve adjustment and the rest of the Inspection ll items which I will be doing myself starting today. It has already earned a spot on my list of favorite cars I've owned. My 1971 2002 holds the top spot with my e39 M5 being second. I think it says alot about the Z4MR for it to gain a spot so quickly |

Man you sound like a dickhead. On the "how old are you thread" we might have to make a new category for 16 year olds.

Thank You!
Love the classics! The e28 535is can be DD or DE'd, the e30 325ic is the wifes toy but has full suspension, great brakes and a few engine mods, great MPG also. LOving the Z!!! Redline and RP for the trans and diff today as well as inspecting(checking out)rear suspension and brakes etc... |

New Z4 3.0si Coupe owner
Hello,
I am a new member but have been lurking for some time to learn as much as possible before purchasing. After more than a year of researching the M Coupe, I finally decided the 3.0si would be better suited for me. So have finally found and imported one that met all my requirements. Guess I am now one of the limited number of Canadian owners of a Z4 3.0si Coupe. Haven’t had a chance to drive it much yet – spent a lot of time cleaning it up - but love the sound, acceleration and looks. |
