Given an opportunity to swap mine for that Jet Black hood...I'd would not hesitate.

Hi, new to the forum here. Upgraded from an E46 2000 328i to a 2004 Z4 3.0i 6spd Alpine White w/ Black/Dream Red Interior, had 37k on ODO when I picked up from BMW Dealer last week.
The mod bug has already hit and I have a replacement antenna on the way Looking forward to the info on the forum |

Hello everyone. Just bought my first z4 and love it! All of you seem very familiar with the z4 and I can't wait to get some great information from you all. I bought a 03 z4 3.0i.

I just got my new 2008 Z4 from BMW Roadshow in Memphis. My dad bought me a Z3 when I started college years ago (pictured, pardon my hussy female friend, we were young). I have always loved the Z series and now that I have a real adult job I am able to afford my own. Being 26 and not having kids has it's benefits.
It's a CPO and it will be under factory warrant until August and CPO warranty until 2014. It only cost 22k. I feel like I got a great deal. It appears to be in excellent condition. The dealership said that they really wanted to move it because it had been on the lot for 2 months. I love the idea of putting 200k+ miles on this car, but from lurking in these forums I've not seen many cars with high mileage. Right now, this Z4 has 27k miles. I am a daily driver and I will pretty quickly rack up miles due to my job. I plan on using premium gasoline and doing all the scheduled maintenance. I hope it holds up! I love this car. I've driven a Honda Civic, Accord and Insight, other than my last Z3. None of them have made me smile the way the Z's do. No glamour shots yet! Just iPhone pics. Our dogs love the car too |

I see no reason, with solid maintenance, that you can't make 200K. Lots on how to care and maintain your car to be found here. If you drive a lot with your dog, who is about the size of mine, consider the Kurgo Skybox. It's about 50 bucks, puts the dog at window level, and securely keeps him or her in place with a harness and attachment (think kid seat for a dog). Our dog loves it, because she can see out and keep an eye on the road and other drivers (example). She growls and woofs a bit if they try something stupid (like drifting into my lane or cutting me off). Given how people don't pay attention it's nice to have a co-pilot to keep an additional set of eyes on other drivers! |

Just bought an M Coupe. It is being shipped from Texas to Orange County, CA. I should be taking delivery by Friday. I had tried buying three different m coupes this month and missed each one by under 24 hrs, yes all three sold just before my offer. I think it all worked out perfectly as the one I purchased has only 25k miles on it. I come from a history of modding, most recently a 07 MINI S (about every bolt on out there), and an e30 with m50 motor swap. I've had other bimmers as well. Looking forward to this one. Already having a tough time peeling myself away from the classifieds looking for parts. Also, looking to swap my oem wheels with aftermarket. Willing to put in cash to make the deal work. Please let me know if you may have some wheels to trade.

Please ensure you post a delivery picture if possible (well if you can keep the grin within frame)

Newbie says hello
Hello all,
I'm a new member and absolutely love my '03 2.5i Z4! A few miles and scrapes, but so do I. Love searching these topics to help with cosmetics improvements, so am anxious to read all threads, if that's possible. David |

Mods completed: Stubby Antenna Mods on UPS Truck: RFI Red Scoop RAI Kit with BNC Filter drop, OE Retro-fit Clear Lens Kit. Mods yet to be installed/completed: E46 Cigarette Lighter Aux Kit, Sound Resonator Mod Short Term Mods Planned: BF Goodrich Geforce KDW2's (Car still has the OE run flats in the front and previous owner put crappy tires in the rear which have absolutely no traction in wet; very scarey to drive in wet right now). Long Term Mods Planned: UUC Short Shifter, UUC DSSK, RE Transmission Mounts, Remote Soft top Operation Mod.... Took me a while to find the retro-fit kit as it is now a discontinued product. I purchased what I believe to be the very last kit in the USA I plan on doing the Red Tint Overlay mod to get rid of the all clear look. As you can tell, the mod bug has hit me hard =P I am still in the process of going through all the threads here lol. Its nice to have a hobby again tho, been focused on work for too long. My philosophy with modding is to keep the car clean but unique. My previous car for reference:
