I didnt do it for this, but for a different project, I used a paper towel flat on top and then wet the paper towel.
This helped keep the juice on top & also kept it wet longer.

I poured it on the area. Really the most important thing I found was not to agitate the decal. Just sweep it away. Like everyone else I was concerned about how loose the cover of the visor became and seemed to become more so with application of more Goof Off but it went completely back to normal in fairly short order.

It's this very helpful label. I removed mine using goof-off a long time ago and you can still see the slight outline of where it used to be. I think it was worth removing it for the 10 minutes of work.

The warning may come in handy... In addition, when we all go to sell these things, the hardcore folks will see having them as an original detail to authenticate the carBarrett Jackson commentary...
