I don't understand why you'd ship reps in from the UK - we've got plenty of vendors here. Also, speaking as someone with authentic CSL wheels, my recommendation would be to avoid the expense of CSLs and the stigma of reps by getting ZCP (Competition Package) wheels from Tischer or somewhere. Same build quality and finish, only they're a half inch narower up front; more than reps, yes, but cheaper than CSLs.

It's not about the difference in looks between the real CSL's and the CSL reps. It's about the driving dynamics. I've had 9~10 sets of aftermarket wheels in the last 5 years, including both CSL reps and authentic ZCP's. The CSL reps are absolutely the worst wheels of all the wheels I've had. Extremely heavy and killed the handling and made a noticible difference on straightline acceleration. I couldn't wait to get rid of them the moment I mounted them on my car (and I did get rid of them after like 1 month). Usually I don't waste time replying to idiots like you. But I'm bored today so whatever.

Truth is, I wouldn't care if everyone did have them - they still look good. There's a pic from a UK meet on z4-forum where 3 or 4 M Coupes are pictured, all with CSLs; it's a pretty nice picture. |

Your coupe looks great. I really like the side skirts on the IB. Good call on the H&R springs, they will complete the look.

Here's a few of mine. More located in my pictures on here. I wish there were more hills or something other than flat nothingness around here...
