I was going to recommend Rho-plate, but seeing the size of your plate you would be better off with mounting some strong magnets on the inside of the bumper and some soft non-abrasive material on the back side of the plate and just slapping it on that way. Intgr8r has done that and it has worked great for him.

Thanks F360C.. always appreciate the input man. The splitter I cut because for my own personal taste (cars are like that eh?) i thought the overhang was too much. I sent it to the same shop that refurbed the wing, they too initially were hesitant about cutting the splitter, but the end result speaks for itself. My buddy in Abu Dhabi has the same car and the same APR splitter and when i saw the splitter on his car, for me it stuck out too far. (he loves it the way it is though

Thanks Mirko, that means a lot. Its night and day between the old paint job.. amazing what the sun does to paint even after 8 years.. I saved the covers for the pop up sprayer on the front bumper, for a joke i may post a picture of that vs the new paint.. just amazing..

Thanks Ian, that means a lot man, coming from you guys.. no doubt you've noticed the pictures are before repainting of the splitter occurred. When i go and grab the car, ill post up a few of the splitter, with the plastidip paint in place on the edge. lots and lots to do before the 13th…

Thanks PLCZ4M.. you rock man!! thanks for the kind words. Its funny you know, a lot of the car came together from pictures and words from people from this forum. Amazing crowd here, the support is just amazing man. the look is rather pleasing, and didn't really know exactly how it was going to turn out, there are a few little issues still, like the front windscreen rubber and of course to complete the overhaul i REALLY should replace both small side windows as the rubbers are totally used up.. Its at the shop ATM getting the intake installed, but first they need to sort my non-start issue… hopefully aggressive enough, but not too intimidating.. thanks again for the kind words man. appreciated.

Pretty happy with how its turning out also, I know the wing isn't everyones cup of tea (my bother also doesn't like it, and keeps calling me a motor head now) but i love it, and hey as long as the cops leave me alone, i think it compliments my coupe perfectly. Thanks for the advise during the build up mate, much appreciated.

Hey buddy, thanks for the advise.. mounted non abrasive soft sticky foam on the backside of the bracket that mounts on the boot. and on the underside of the boot, i have some quite large washers before the nut was done up.. the washers are close to 2cm in radius and pretty darn sturdy. I can't even begin to tell you what a nightmare it was putting those washers on the back and then having to do up those nuts… probably the single most frustrating thing I've done in a bloody long time.. very glad thats done.. thanks again for your thoughts and help mate, your car inspired me a lot.

Thanks guys, small update today..
Installed new engine cover and new custom brace bar. Show is tomorrow, didnt have enough time to install the csl intake. :-( car has been back and forwards ti the paint shop about 10 times to fix up little imperfections that I was not happy with. They are probably very sick of me by now . Lol Was thinking of installing the intake today, but if I run into any issues, ill miss the show tomorrow.. so decided to leave the intake for a few days..

Also new bonnet roundel. The one on there was ok, but showed a little bit of sun damage. Looks perfect now.
