UPDATE:
Here is another option that I just tested. You CAN fit 355mm or larger Stoptech Z4M (yes, the M/S54) front kit on the 3.0si. Here is what you do: - Purchase 6061-T6 spacers 12mmID x 28mmOD x 14.28mm long - Purchase longer M12x1,5 bolts (I found M12x1,5x50 flywheel bolts part number 11222243051) - The trick is to install the caliper bracket BACKWARDS (just flip the bracket). You will then bolt in from the front of the spindle, sandwhiching the 14.28mm spacers between the bracket and the spindle And that's it. Install the rotor, slide on the caliper, perfect fitment. I'll have some photos soon to demonstrate. Now you have two options: 355mm Stoptech (or 380 if you wish for Z4m), or 335 caliper+brass guides/z4m rotor swap. Both I feel are great track setups. Yes, I jumped ship to the Stoptechs. The main reason? My favorite PFC08 pads are very hard to find for the 335i calipers.

Any suggestions for best bang for the buck in the rotor department? The car is for spirited road use only. Need to fill out the space behind the Apex wheels haha........ Thanks for reading, Bill |

Would knowledgeable person please confirm that the front caliper number are correct before hit buy now, on my previous post the P / N listed were rear 335 calipers! Thanks for reading Bill Last edited by Willy Sea; 01-11-2020 at 11:43 AM.. |

Quite a bit bigger than the original sizing for the front units Got a new set for the rear too, easier to prep and paint front and rears together rather than waiting with the car on the hoist getting things done. New Z4M drilled rotors arriving with drilled rear rotors in the sizings posted above. Hope its all as easy to fit as it was to hit buy now Other items to note: the aero skirts came last week too. And no we paid nowhere near the pricings that have been talked about on these forums. And picked up a new magnaflow resonator from a member on the UK forum who also lives in Christchurch NZ. Thanks Shayne. Still going down the road for a tune / remap, taking advice from some of the E90 boys with this. The despatch date keeps getting pushed back for the Apex Arc8"s in hyperblack ordered on Black Friday 2019. March 20 now. Still, not too stressed we have a set of EC7"s in anthracite on the car. And did I show you the rear diffuser? Naturally, now unable to find the pix, till next post then, Bill |

Are the 4 pot f30 brembo calipers compatible with the e86 3.0si? And by compatible i mean straight bolt on, or some kind of adapter.
I assume if the calipers for 340 rotors fit, the calipers for 370 rotors also fit? How about the f30 rotors, do these fit? Both these calipers (340 and 370 variants), these rotors (340x30 and 370x30) aswell as pads seems a lot more common to find https://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-b...ke-Differences |

Are there any options for two piece rear rotor upgrades? Paragon Performance are able to manufacture hats with inserts at 160mm inner diameter for parking brakes. Wilwood has a e46 parking brake compatible hat as well.
