did you get this to work on your car? Mine is a 12/02 build and I'm hoping that I won't have any issues. Thanks!

Sorry MetMan, haven't got round to it yet, with what sbtwister said about there being 6 wires in the wiring plug on his 2005 car and i can only recall there being only 4 on mine. Could be a problem, i had asked if anybody would be kind enough to check their TIS for the wires, but nobody replied.

I'm a little confused by mine, if i have only 4 wires, power and earth (ground) take up 2 and there is still bonnet (hood) and inclination sensors to hook up??, i would have thought each sensor having 2 wires each, hence the alarm module having 6 terminals. Unless i have found the wrong plug? lol. Searching through part numbers on RealOEM it has alarms systems with different numbers before 12/2002 and after, so you may be lucky. Good luck with it mate and please any info to shed light on mine is appreciated. |

No chirp - No module in kit
I found this thread and bought part # 65730302424 from Tischer. I installed the hood thingy and the siren, which is all that came with the kit, and nothing. No chirp. My car is a 2003 Z4 roadster built in 6/03 and the install was easy but no result. Has anybody bought and installed this part #? Any ideas?

my clown nose did not blink before install, nor did it blink after. it was only after installation and activation did it blink. the chirp did go off as soon as i installed the alarm (but prior to activation).

Alarm (underhood switch and horn/siren) installed. Chirp lock on - lock off. Still looking for a motion sensor to add to the set-up. If anyone has a OEM part # for this let me know.
Sorry to hear about these kits from Tischer that are not working. One of the nicer upgrades I have made even if is just a chirp to let me know the locks are engaged/non-engaged. I get wallet rash when ever I talk to the Dealer so I may never have it activated unless I can find an Indy shop to do it.

After spending a day surfing around and calling my local stealership I believe that the motion sensor can not be purchased seperately. So...we paid a small amount of $ for a basic alarm system without the motion sensor.
Ok by me! Like others I was having a hard time seeing the lights flash indicating that the locks were engaged.

Em no. If you ordered the kit from the first posts part number, then what you have is right. Different part number for the kit with the tilt sensor and a different price lol.
