Hahahaha. Well, now...come on. I wouldn't say putting 48,500 miles on my 2022 Carbon Black M850 is "going through it." It was a spectacular car that was just about to go out of warranty. Then, I actually bought an extended warranty. But there was a spoken for 2025 San Remo (with Tartufo and B&W) that became a failed delivery just after I handed over my visa card for the warranty. They knew I was interested in it and made me a great deal. So, the warranty money became the down payment and off I went, with a new BMW warranty and zero miles back on the clock. While I only had the San Remo for 9 months, I was still able to plow through 18,000 miles. That's 3 years for some folks here.

The B8 was probably my ultimate goal for several years. The fact that one actually popped up at my dealer (very, very rare indeed) I had to swing for it, especially since we are at EOP for the 8 series. The M850 checked every box, but the B8 has a few more boxes, shall we say?

I will drive this until I am old and then get some janky EV that I'll just use for doctors appointments when I can't travel anymore.
