Geez the coach seems like a great guy and he sounds competent. On another note down goes Clemson again, Dabo had a meltdown……. GT and Vanderbilt go down and Ohio State and Indiana look to be the head of the class. I don’t think this is Georgias year or Texas.

Hard to tell whose year it is. Ohio State and Indiana look great. Bama has really turned things around since losing to FSU. Texas A&M looks good too. Those four seem to be the best as of now. But there is much more parity than even a few years ago and anything can happen any given week.

For sure and parity shouldn’t be a bad thing but the system just doesn’t feel right. These kids should be required to stay at a school for two years once they sign and the NIL money needs to be regulated or this will turn back into a few dominant teams based on money and that’s not right

Difficult to reconcile how 8-2 ND is above 8-2 Miami (who beat them when ND was favored to win) and 8-2 Bama (who has better wins than ND). They have beaten only USC. Somehow losing to really good teams is now a critical criterion.

I think ND has been positioned to "fall" into the CFP based on losses by higher ranked teams during their conference play. It's all about the money!

Notre Dame should have to join a conference and play similar schedule to all others. They always get a free ride….

Our school (Eastern Illinois) is playing Alabama tomorrow. Talk about a mismatch. I'm somewhat surprised that 'Bama would risk an injury to any of their key players in a game like this. Maybe they'll play second stringers only?

As expected, an embarrassing blowout. I don't understand why, but EIU got paid just over a half million for this game. What on earth is the point?

Most / many Power 4 teams “buy wins” by paying an overmatched opponent a bunch of money to play them each season.

If Notre Dame makes playoffs over Miami that’s a travesty. I felt for Auburn last night easily could have won the game. The kid from Alabama threw an incredible touchdown at the end of the first half really impressive. Next week should be interesting……

Yeah, idk what NDs argument will be this week but forget loses. We have beaten 4 top 25 teams to their 1. Our highest being ND at 6, and there's is a win over a 20! I also wholeheartedly agree with the above comment..ND should be forced to pick a conference. There is no way they should get all of the pluses of being in a conference and none of the downsides. You want to be independent, then be independent and pay your full tab. They wouldn't be independent long after that I'm betting.

It's a critical weekend for UGA, if they beat Alabama they will likely be #2 and set themselves up with momentum for the Playoff. OSU has been dominating and would be a great game with the Bulldogs.
