Thanks for the info. I ended up going with 18x9 ET42 and 18x10 ET25 with 245/40 and 275/35... no rubbing on the highway over bumps and dips, or at full lock in parking lots. The last test if autocross but that won't be for another month and a half.
Dirty car/cell phone pics... I will get some proper photos when it warms up. Apex ARC-8 Hyper Black, BFGoodrich Rival Front: 18x9 ET42, 245/40/18 Rear: 18x10 ET25, 275/35/18 |

the 10" 25 offset looks like it pokes slightly not to keen on that look tbh, great choice on tyres btw....

To be on the safe side, you can always try the full compression test by jacking up one of the front corner to see if there's anything touching on the opposite rear. That 10" et25 does look pretty perfect, especially with those meaty tires

Washed and waxed the car yesterday, and took out my DSLR to get some slightly better pics than what I posted previously.

Great looking Z4M Roadster, intoflatlines, thank you for sharing. Hyper Black looks really good on your Silver Grey Z4MR. How are the BF Goodrich Rivals?

Thanks David. The Rivals are good so far, but have only driven a couple hundred miles on them. I am anxiously looking forward to the first autocross event of the season. They do seem pretty durable though, along with the ARC-8 wheels. I hit two nasty potholes which I thought would definitely bust a tire or bend a wheel (from past experience). But thankfully the tires and wheels held up brilliantly!

Hello,
Are you running spacers and/or camber plates? I want a square setup to be able to rotate tires for longer life!

Apex ARC-8 Hyper Black on Titanium Silver, Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Front: 18x9 ET42, 245/40/18 Rear: 18x9.5 ET25, 255/40/18 Stock suspension. The rear tires have less than 1000 miles on them, when they wear, I plan to replace with 265 or 275. The front is a very tight fit, only 5 or 6 millimeter clearance from tire to strut. I believe there is a slight rub, but only occurring at full-lock turn. |

I just swapped wheels from the M3 to the Z4. Rides fine, no rubbing at all with stock suspension.
Apex ARC-8 18x9.5 et35 Square Hankook R-S3 265/35/18 Square Apex 5mm Front Spacer Apex 12mm Rear Spacer Apex 75mm M12 Wheel Studs I plan to stack a couple sets identical to this so I can run them on both vehicles at the track or autocross. If I can scrounge the $$$, I'll do the widest staggered EC-7 setup that I can fit as my street setup on the Z4. Last edited by Sliktop; 05-19-2015 at 01:22 PM.. |

stock suspension and no rubbing anywhere. My plans are to get to either a 265/35/18 square setup or better yet a 275/35/18 square setup
