Just a dusting on the ground here, but what a difference from yesterday when it was mid-60s.

11C but cloudy conditions and 22 mph wind gusts making it feel like 6C, still walking the dog as no rain.

The wind Saturday night was out of the SE so it was actually blowing snow and freezing rain against the opposite side of the house than western storms normally do. We had extremely high gusts over 60 mph and thunder and lightening in the snow storm which is kind of cool. We only got about 13" but it wet and heavy, and my snowblower wouldn't start. We have a guy that plows or driveway and he finally showed up at 8:30 PM. I used to plow snow in my youth and you can get some very long days.

Given what is going on in SoCal, I shouldn't be surprised, but it is 70F at the moment -- and forecast for highs in the 60s the rest of the week.

Didn't get close to 59°F (15°C) or the deluge they had forecast.

That being said, this morning trek may be the last one of the season...

According to our most recent forecast, the next 4 days are going to be 98°F.

Wish I was snow trekking with JJ 911SC and Tiggie right about now.

The big front blew through here around midnight, with crazy winds and lots of power outages in the region. Temps fell from the 60's F down to freezing, and it is windy/cold outside this afternoon.....

We woke up this morning to about an inch of snow and 20 degrees.
On again off again lake effect snow again this afternoon with a temp of 23 degrees.

On a side note, anyone in the east/midwest see or hear the asteroid/meteor this morning? We heard a couple of booms about 8:30-9:00 this morning. Thought it was an explosion of some sort.

Reports indicate an asteroid weighing seven tons and 6 feet in diameter, traveling at 45,000 miles per hour zoomed over the skies of multiple states as a meteor today.

Eyewitnesses from 10 states, Washington, D.C. and the Canadian province of Ontario reported seeing the "bright fireball" moments before 9 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Multiple videos on news outlets showing the fireball in the sky.

Yup. I am about 30 miles west of Cleveland. It was very loud here and after initial explosion, it rumbled for about 10 seconds. Windows rattled and the floor shook. Windows broken in some neighborhoods around us. NASA said some chunks may have made it to ground in Northern Medina County not far from my house.

Little dusting of snow overnight, mid thirties today and cloudy.

Looks to be up into the 50's and 60's through the weekend.

Now thats a bit warm, a bit unusual for this time of the year.

Certainly would take about twenty or thirty of that right now.

We're currently in a heat wave. Last I heard was that this might be the hottest March in SoCal since 1988.

And I would love to share some of this 'warmth' with you.

High today is 101°F. Still considered winter here. If this is any indication what our summer will be like... yikes!
